One of my clients travelled with a group of friends who swore by intermittent fasting. It was promoted as the ultimate way to increase focus and energy.

But she’s an Activator – a high-energy HealthType who thrives on frequent fuelling and dynamic movement.

Really quickly, she was ‘hangry’ – irritable, depleted, and out of sync with herself.

Once she returned to her own rhythm, her energy lifted, her mood stabilised, and her body felt safe again.
